Raining Room (Diamond Dust) was a constructed room, divided down the middle by a thin curtain of water droplets falling through the air.  Carefully lit by projected light, the droplets were only visible as tiny flashes, providing the sole source of illumination within the work.  Appearing almost as if one is seeing stars, most viewers initially perceived the droplets as projections on a screen, the dim ambient lighting causing people simply not to ‘see’ the continuation of space beyond the falling water.
